We take pride in being very professional with all the services we provide. We are the only company in NZ, that specializes in navigation conversions. We don’t service cars and we don’t sell tyres, but we do have specialists in the latest automotive electronics. All of our software is tested prior to going on your car, and all our technicians are ex-Audi, ex-BMW, ex-Mercedes and ex-Porsche technicians. So you know that your car is in the right hands.
We’ve heard horror stories from clients, who have been to our competitors, and have had units damaged and forced to fork out up to $11,000 NZD to replace entire units. This is due to their technicians not having experience in these high-tech cars and they do not take responsibility for the damage caused. While your car is with us, we take FULL responsibility for your car and unit, and you would NOT be left with the responsibility of fixing it in the unlikely event something was to go wrong.
No, all work is done using genuine software from the respective manufacturers so your warranty is not affected.
Not with our conversions. We convert cars the right way, without going around the manufacturer’s specification. In any case, if a car has been restored to the old map, we guarantee our work and will re-activate your New Zealand navigation for you free of charge.
You can refer to the photos of the center dashboard and console that are shown on our website. If you are still unsure, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
We are able to change digital speedometers from miles to kilometers for most European cars. If you are getting you navigation done with us, we can carry out this service free of charge.
If you are getting your navigation done with us, we can activate your DVD playback while driving at no additional cost.
If your car is not listed, please email or give us a call and we will do everything we can to find a solution for you.
Almost all imports from anywhere in the world can be done. Japanese imports are problematic, as they have systems designed to work specifically in Japan, but not anywhere else in the world. Most of the time this means that the navigation unit needs to be replaced with a new one, which is compatible to work in NZ. This applies to both older models with DVD based and many of the newer models with HDD based system. If you have doubts about a certain car, please email or give us a call to find out more.
We do not currently specialize in Japanese vehicles, but are looking into it and may offer this service in the future.
Not a problem, we can help you with that. We always have the latest maps on hand, as soon as they are released by manufacturers.
While we do work on most car brands, NAZNZ is NOT an official representative to any car manufacturer listed on this site, nor is it an authorized dealer for these brands. NAVNZ have no affiliation with any car manufacturer or authorized dealer.
